Someone has offered me their display model for 2000.
    Is this good value?
How many hours on the clock would make it bad value?
It will have a full guarantee ETC

    Any thoughts?

    Hi Sac,

I'd suggest saving a couple of hundred quid more and investing in a new unit straight out the factory.

Last thing I'd like is to inherit someone elses 'latent' problems in something that I forked so much out for. You have no idea if they ran the unit in properly i.e. kept settings low for the 1st couple of hundred hours etc

Good luck. Feel free to ask questions.

Sounds like a good deal. Check that there is no screen burn first then make sure there is no other obvious damage to the unit and insist on a full manufacturers warranty. If you see any defects or they won't play ball with the warranty then walk away.
