    Hello people :hiya:

Just wanted to ask a couple of quick questions, I have recently moved into a new flat and have found the old tenants have left their dish & box behind - i am not sure whether it is analogue or digital - did not pay attention - apologies for this. But my question is this -

As i dont know whether the box/dish actually works, what is the cheapest way of putting it up? is there a DIY way of testing it out? I am not really planning on subscribing to sky - just want to get the free channels....is it worth it?

Thanks very much for your help in advance.

if there is a card in the box it shold just be a case of connecting it to TV and see what you find... if there is no card you will need a card for the free channels.... search for "freesat"

You dont need a pro. to set up sky dish. I put up my first one, pointed it southeast and moved it up and down till I got a signal. I may even have the coordinates somewnere.

The SAT is 28.2 degrees east of south.

    You need a card to watch ITV 1 + 2 CH4 and CH5.

BBC and some other sh!te are free to air :)
