My son`s crap DVD player broke down and I want to buy him a new one for Xmas.

The player would be used in his bedroom + attached to a cheap Nicam T.V which he has.

This is satisfactory for his needs as he only looks at DVD`s in his bedrooom now + then.
I have a Sony Dav S550 in the lounge where most of the DVD films are watched but thought it would be quite nice for him to have his own DVD player again so that I can regain major use of my T.V.

Any decent players which are being replaced by newer models or shops who have offers on particular DVD players would be just fine.

I am not fussed nor is my son by any particular make but just something that meets the above criteria would suit.

Suggestions for a player + where to get it would be appreciated.

Toshiba 330 or Pioneer 360, both about the £80 point multi region and well enough built to last a bit longer than a true cheapy. Would go for the pioneer if pushed as no piece of their gear I've owned has gone wrong on me which cannot be said for Toshiba.

I have a pioneer 444 which is suoerb but tosh SD330 from RS for £70 when you use their pricebeat is pretty hard to beat for the money.
£79.99 at a few paces includung Play.com and a few others.
