Is it worth paying £30 for a good quality scart. I'm currently connecting my 3802 to my TV via my video through scart (video end) to two phono, and one video (technical name eludes me) (amp end)

The cable I currently use cost me £3, and the cable from by video to TV came with teh video. Is it worth the extra for an expensive cable, and would I need both cables to be expensive ones if I'm to see any difference.

Unfortunately I can't afford a new TV, I have a 12 year old 25inch Pye. I suppose the extra expense of the cables won't be worth it until I get a new TV?

    Cheers

I think that spending money on the cables would be pointless whilst you have that television and are using composite video.

There may be a minor improvement but i wouldn't bother.
