Cheap S-video cable, are these suitable?

    Basically I'm trying running all video through my amp, so will have to try S-video connection to TV as I have no component in. I want to try this to see if I can tell much difference against a (currently) average scart connection for DVD, everything else such as TV, Freeview & PS2 should look better or equal on S-video at least.

    Thing is if I don't llike it I will have wasted money if I spent a lot so, would any of these cables be OK:

    Or would I be better spending a little more on something like this:

    If I go for s-vid as long term then I would probably purcahse one of the Mark Grant cables, as I am happy wioh the quality of my digi coax by Mark Grant.

    Oh yeah, missed that Ixos one!!
    Ok, so if I stop being such a tightwad, and pick either the profigold or Ixos which would be better?
