Our business needs a couple of projectors for presentations (fixed locations). As one of the locations is going to be my home office ;) I was intending to get a Panny AE100 (for those "widescreen presentations").
The other PJ will be used more for presentation work, and in slightly higher ambient light conditions. Is the Panny still a good choice, or should we look elsewhere (similar price bracket). This one will be running off a Mac, if that makes a difference....

I have recently bought 4 new Sony VPL-CS4s and the staff just rave about them. Paid £1300 from Micro Warehouse a few months ago.

Good brightness 1000ansi, very portable and a sinch to use.

I you wanted to save and pay only £1000 I do know a company that has a few VPL-CS1s for sale still, complete witth warranty. Only 700ansi but still good and in some ways better quality than the new CS4s.

Look at the PT-AE100's big brothers.

The PT-LC55e and PT-LC75e are great dual purpose machines with the resolution and brightness to suit business presentations along with the same video engine as the PT-AE100 so no slouches when you want to use them at home - in fact some argue that they are a better bet if you use a HCPC; but that's another story.

I have a PDF file if you want to contact me on the PM.

    Regards

    Joe
