Went hunting for a 512mb Duo Pro yesterday. Jessops wanted £70, Argos £130, nothing in the UK on ebay. Eventually settled on this store:

    http://s1.amazon.co.uk/exec/varzea/ts/my-zshop/S2DASA585NO7RZ/026-8352419-5414006

Card cost me £37.49 with about £4 for 1st class recorded. It arrived this morning, had a free jacket for devices that like the larger sized Memory Stick & works fine. Just thought I'd pass on my good luck.

Is that for a Sony card from Jessops? as I got my Sandisk 512Mb from Jessops for £38

Jessops quoted me £50 for a Sandisk version (sold out & none at the wholesalers for a few weeks) or £70 for a Sony version. You did well at £38.00!

Are the Sony ones really that much better, or as I suspect, are they actually manufactured by Sandisk & put in a sony Box !

I doubt it, as Sony designed and developed the memory stick. Sandisk would purely pay a licence fee for the technology to manufacture them.
