Cheap gaming laptop??

Hi can anybody Recommend a laptop to play games on I'm talking cod and battlefield and maybe some wow?

Looking to buy cheap like an acer with i3? About £300???

Or should I just save and build a desktop instead??

I'm no expert when it comes to gaming, but I'd say the graphics are alway going to be poorer when it comes to lappys and a desktop is deffo the route I would take if portability isn't that important

You could build a desktop yourself for £300 and play those games fine, but a laptop to get simlar performance as that even would cost at least double at the minimum

No, it definitely wouldnt. Your priority is getting a decent graphics card, this laptop doesnt even have a graphics card.

Several things - Which version of these games do you wish to play - you need to be very specific. COD Black Ops for instance will not run on the machine broona has linked, WoW OTOH will.

If you have the space for a desktop and gaming is your main usage then I would 100% go for the desktop. You wont get a laptop that can run many games for 300, you can build a desktop and upgrade as you get more cash though - cheap laptops have hardly any upgrade path.
