I'm looking for a cheap freesat hd receiver, ideally to have the proper freesat platform channels not just a bunch of random ones with no guide.

Are any of those cheap boxes on eBay or Amazon any good ?, Appreciate some advice please .

    Thanks.

The Freesat web site lists all the FS machines.

Beware a lot of boxes on ebay and other sites labelled as Freesat are NOT and do not have the Freesat features - EPG, automatic channel updating etc.

Humax are the only current manufacturer although you may find new old stock from other manufacturers such as those on this site - Freesat Boxes – A List of Freesat Receivers

Cheers guys, I will have a look through the list, £99 is a tad expensive for just a receiver but I guess you get what you pay for.

This is the one we have. Managed to pick it up for £80 and had a spare 500mb HDD for recording. Works fine and has all the on demand features needed.
Wait for the Black Friday Sales incase they get reduced.
