really want to get a DVD player with 5.1 analogue audio outs so as to go streight to rotel surround amp for DVD playback only.

have seen the nad T550 go for around £200 on ebay recently (which is tretching my budget). I heard it had fabulous quality audio, but a problem with the limited processor and compatibility with later DVD's (especially R1) causing a lipsynch problem.

nad say they have a fix but only a partial one..

can anyopne say if i would be wasting my money on a T550, and does anyone know of any budget machines (preferebly under £150 that have acceptably good quality 5.1 analogue audio outs.

    any advice welcome.
