    Just a shame they are one of the worst dvd-r blanks you can buy.

    I have just bought some ram discs (smart buy) from the blank disc shop and they work great, also the movie reel dvd-r by ritek are great value at £15 for 25

    Sorry I didn't put the price. For those intersted the smart buy ram discs are 2.98ea and work great on my E-50. you just have to format the discs before use(takes about 30 seconds). Mark

    DVD+R was half price in PC World over Christmas - dont know if they still are.

    I see then they are still stamping down prices.

    I tried those Mirror discs (from Splash) they are as bad as it gets.

    I prefer the Arita discs from Riviera Multimedia, coming in at around 70p per disc

    Personally think the Memorex ones available from play.com - 17.99 for a 25 spindle is excellent value! they are great discs...never had a problem with them.
