Richer Sounds (Milton Keynes) had plenty on Saturday 29/12...

AFAIK the Cyberhome DOESN'T allow you to disable MacroVision.

Hi I have just posted re the naiko DVD which can be had from MAKRO for under £100. I am trying to find out if any body has any knowledge of this player as I am looking to buy it as a 2nd player and it has lots of facilities and I do have the hack for it maybe worth looking at

The Makro/Naiko is, I gather, identical to the Dansai from Tesco. I bought one on a whim (because it plays MP3s and converts NTSC DVDs to PAL/625/50). It looks and feels cheap, is a bit noisy, but performs quite adequately. Some people have had overheating problems causing lock up. I've run mine now for three periods of 6 hours without incident. Happily plays VCDs, CDRs, MP3s as well as the normal stuff. I'd suggest it is a good buy for those on a severe budget. Easily hacked for every region 1-8 and for region free. Macrovision can easily be defeated, too.
