Thought "What the heck!" So I went and ordered one, not arrived yet but shouldn't be too long.

Will give short review on use.

I've got one of these Cheese boxes. It works about as well as you'd expect a $70 line doubler to work. It's hooked up between a 27" Gateway Destination monitor is using my digital cable box as a source.

    The good:

    does adaptive deinterlacing.
Works well (no glitches, or other major problems).
Switches to VGA passthrough with a single button.
    Small.
    No feathering
    Great color clarity.

    Bad,
    Jaggies around diagonal moving objects.

I wouldn't use this on a huge flat panel or projector; the jaggies would be very annoying. For a 27" TV viewed from about 1.5 or 2 meters away, it works excpetionally well, and the picture quality is far better than a standard 27" TV.

I've not got mine yet, but i'm not too bothered as it is just a bit of fun really.

Diagonal jaggies shouldn't be a problem as the picture is quite soft anyway.
