I've ordered from them before without any problems; the only reason for my delay is to find out whether my new pda sees FAT 32 drives

Has arrived and it only works with the player, which to be fair, is pretty poor.

It's in the process of being returned as I type.

    Cheers all

That indeed sucks. Out of interest, has the card been disabled in some way, what did you try it with, PC, camera, etc?

    Thanks

Oh well. At least you can bask in the feel-good factor from being the Forum's sacrificial lamb!

    Many thanks.

I just found the following on an IPaq website:

    http://www.ipaqhq.com/forums/showthread.php?p=52311#post52311

    In summary is says:

a Hitachi OEM MD with a model number higher than 43C cannot be used in a PDA or digital camera since they are not in CF mode. They are somehow configured as IDE mode by Hitachi.
