cheap 17" HDDef LCD ?

    Any1 know if theres any cheapest 17" HD Def ready LCD TV, around 300pound?

    there aint none yet my man. they generally lack the resolution to do hidef anyway.

    Yep, you are wrong ;)

    Almost all 17" WS LCD TVs are 1280x768 15:9, enough resolution for 720p HD. Trouble is most of them only accept that resolution through the VGA input; the other inputs usually being SCART and/or S-video. A few of them like the Philips 170T4FS and the LG L172WT accept HD via component but AFAIK only the Samsung 730MW has DVI-HDCP (and thus probably the only one allowed to use the HD-ready label).
