After the impression that Mallrats left me I took everyones advice and got hold of Criterion Chasing Amy.

    What a great film !!!

Besides being a wonderful story and greatly written I was able ( for one of the 1st times ever in a film ) able to relate with Holden and his feelings when the history behind Alyssa raises its head.

The ending ( of which I hear some people were let down by ) I felt was the only real ending the film could have and fitted with the story completly.

I think that this is the first film which may help me be a better person.

    Thanks for the recommendation !!

    Absolutely.

Kevin Smith films are so brilliantly written it's quite sad he's such a not-so-good director. Anyway, you can't go wrong with any movie Jay & Silent Bob make an appearance in.
