A Korean movie 'Scandal- love affairs of Chosun men and women' (Dir. Lee Jae Yong) recently got an invitation to Feb. 5th. opening of the 54th. Berlin film Festival of Panorama.

'Scandal' is based on one of the most-loved classics in Europe, Choderlos De Laclos' 'Les liaisons dangereuses' from 18c. France. The first remake ever in Asia which depicts the seduction of two wicked characters for the 9-year of chastity Madame sook containing the details of custom and culture of noblemen with scenes of eroticism.

Apart from the reality of historical settings, it is quite fascinating to see all the luxury in Chosun dynasty!
The novel has been many times remade in US. and France and 'Scandal' is considered one of the best remake!
Being interested from the point of shooting, the Berlin Film Festival officials has sent formal invitation card.

And 'Scandal' has awarded Asia movie promotion organization (Netpet award) for its creative interpretation of 18c. French classic and its reward of reorganizing Korean way of sentiments and contemporary Asian culture with unique point of view.
