If your away from home and do not have computer with you, is there a way to still charge your batteries in the Ipod.

Thanks for the reply. Now if I am in Europe or in an African country, do you know if I can just use a plug adaptor or will there be a problem with voltage.

If you have adaptors (step up or down or whatever) that are made specifically for your country's plug use in another country's socket then there should be no problem I think.

if you have an ipod adaptor the voltage range is from 110v-240v, so i am pretty sure you just need the adaptor and not a transformer, what is the voltage for Africa?

The voltage for the two countries I will be at in Africa are 240Volts. And the adaptor plug is a type G. So I am guessing it will be OK.
