Charging a Lipo battery

I've got a Huban HS501s off a mate and the balance charger is faulty as it's just flashing green and not charging the battery at all.

Do I have to use the balance charger to charge the battery or can i use a normal charger that I have for another Lipo battery?

The pictures below are of the Huban's charger and the other is the plug off another charger with the same connection on the end and the actual battery i want to charge.

Are you sure it's not the battery? Many of these get over discharged and won't then recover.

You should not charge multiple celled LiPos without a balance charger - even small ones like these, as a dud cell could cause a fire.

For what they cost, I would get a new battery and try that.

I looked on the net and people have had the same problems and said it's the charger but I have no idea if it is or not.

I've just ordered a new charger and battery but I was keen to try it out beforehand. I'll just have to wait till it comes even though I feel like a kid at Christmas lol
