Just caught Soldier on C5. They cut tons out of the fight between Kurt and Jason at the end. E.g. when Kurt swung the propellor down which cut Jasons abdomen. Not particularly gory or graphic. Yet at 22:40 it was cut out. Pathetic.
    C5 movies AVOID.

Too true Spectre. Channel 5 has been cutting mad the last few months, any film 9pm onward SNIP. The RT would nightly read C5 film, "Edited for TV". Even comedians have given up with C5 nudge nudge jokes of late. The last film I saw on there was Safe House with Patrick Stewart. The derrière's cut that up and talked all over the end credit as soon as it came up. GRRRR. The dvd is well worth a look for a scene (missing C5) with Stewart and some garden moles (Jasper Carrot stylie!), not very Picard like at all. All these 'personable' compare's do little to make you feel likewise with their inane lengthy cracks.
If only we could track those half dozen idiots who phone in regularly to complain to channels and spoil content for the base millions!

With it being Channel 5, I guess thats par for the course - they'v no objection to showing soft core porno from 9pm but are happy to go snip happy with films like soldier - whats weird is that the following program was about the history of torture which had some pretty gruesome imagery - this was not a film, but showed REAL footage of beheadings, stonings etc.
