Hello, I'm after some advice on changing the head unit in my 51 Ford Focus. I've gone for a Sony GT50UI head unit. I've bought a wiring adapter and fascia kit for it along with some ford stereo removal tools. I removed the old one yesterday to check on the wiring and to make sure I had the correct adapter. There were 4 sets of wires coming out of the stereo. 1 was the aerial on its own on the right hand side of the head unit. On the left hand side there was another 3 sets of wires. Two of these had connectors on that fitted my Focus wiring kit and they should be the speakers and the power supply, I'm not sure what the third connecter does. Can any one let me know. I've posted a picture that should show what I'm talking about. Also do I need to remove the negative terminal of the battery before I start?
    Cheers
    George
