I ahd one ipod mini, synced on iTunes on PC. ipod went wrong and was replaced, but now i can't seem to get iTunes to recognise new iPod. it still seems to be waiting for old one!

Where can i choose new iPod for iTunes to sync with?

I must be missing something obvious!!

    Thanks

Have you reloaded the software for your new i-pod. The same happened with me and I had to put the disc in for the new one so I tunes would recognise the new i-pod.

The new iPod probably has newer firmware than the old one, so needs a newer version of iTunes to work with. Install the latest copy of iTunes (download or off the new iPod's CD) and it should work. Keep us posted.

Yes, your playlists and library wil be unnaffected. BTW, there's a brand new version of iTunes out today (v4.8).
