changing facia on a Nokia 6310i

    I've mamanged to break the facia on my 6310i. I've got a replacement but I cant get the old one off.

    I have removed the screws but it still seems to be held on somehow

    any ideas?

    You shouldn't really be trying to remove the fascia but rather the back casing as this has to come off first.

    Once you have removed the case screws, the fascia bound to the back casing by a series of plastic clips. The 3 clips at the top are very tight but with a bit of careful wangling, the back will come off.

    Now you have to remove the screw holding the internal ariel on (assuming you have got the back casing off) - this is screwed to the front casing from the back. Once done you can simply lift the PCB out and replace in new fascia.
