Changing connections on Van Damme Cable

Hi, Just a quick one.
Am thinking of buying a second-hand red series Van Damme cable as Im impressed with the one I already have.

Only problem is that rather than have RCAs both ends as I need, it has a VGA on one end.
Is it worthwhile (possible?) to swap the VGA for 3 RCAs?
Seems a dumb question - but I know how specialised these cables are so wondered if changing connections may cause problems with the signal?.

Hello stumpywalnut

As long as you get the correct size of RCA plugs you can simply chop off the HD15(VGA) connector and solder or crimp on a set of RCA connectors.

Best regards
