Giving my old work PC to my parents but want to change the registered name in windows from mine to my mums.
Have changed the name in user accounts and systen admin but how do I change the name that the computer was originally registered to on install,ie in my docs the system shows my name and also on system info, probably in the registry somewhere any help would be appreciated.

    go to:
    My Computer, right-click
    Property, left-click
    Computer Name (tab), left-click
    "Change" (button), left-click

careful with the DNS name, do not change that....

Do a registry search for RegisteredOrganization and RegisteredOwner
