If I manage to get my Samsung slimfit crt exchanged what should i consider changing to?
I havn't found a tv that someone hasn't had a major problem with in one way or another.
Are 28's more reliable than 32's?
Budget would be around the £600 mark...

Help I'm fast losing any hope in TV land. :suicide:

saw a 32" CRT Phillips wood framed + stand + souround speakers and sub with stand for £600 new in currys.

CRT`s are soooo cheap, that model used to be £1600 last year.

get on ebay, get a panasonic, toshiba or phillips 36" for £800 then later when the whole HI-DEF thing has settled in 3yrs when its not 720p res it will be more like 2048 x 1980 of something with no messing just one digital connector get an LCD or LCOS panel.

If you stretch to £699 you could get an award winning 36" Panasonic PL32 from Currys/Dixons.

    But its big !!

I was thinking of the Toshiba 32zp48 but after having geometry probs on my samsung I am now thinking of going back to a 28 inch something as the geometry problem seems to only affect 32 and above.
I may even bow and consider an LCD if I'm going down in size.
