I am currently using Acoustic Energy ae109 fronts, ae107c and ae101s for rears.

This setup sounded good in a large room, but now I have a small cramped room and it sounds awful. The 109s need space to sound at their best. I never really got on with the 107c anyway.

    Unfortunately I'm completely broke.

So I'm considering buying some cheap, small standmounters. I'll replace the front three to start with and keep the rears for now. I've already got some decent stands.

    Perhaps:

    Mission m70 & M7C1

    or

    2 x pairs of M70. Using a single M70 for a centre.

Either of these options would only set me back around £150 -£160.

I realise it's a sideways or even downwards step but I need change my current setup, even just temporarily.

    Oh yeah, I've got a REL Q50.

    Any thoughts,opinions or suggestions appreciated.
