Hi all,
As I'm not listening to much 5.1 sound and also I am disappointed because my present system is a down grade to what I previously had so I'm considering changing to Stereo only but in high quality.

I use Apple TV a lot, the IPad, Spotity, CD's and DVD-A (via Blu-Ray Player).

I would like to be able to connect 2 Optical and 1 Coaxial.

The wife would also appreciate less equipment/cables too.

I must admit I'm new to the streaming side of things so I was looking at the more decent Brands such as Cyrus, Naim, Sonus and for what speakers to pair with it ie, small with a Subwoofer or floorstanders.

I like a decent bass wit a clean clear and distinct Trebble.

Would any think that the systems prices at around £700 would be sufficient for my needs or do I Eden to save longer for one priced in the £2K + bracket?

Any suggestions as well as your own experiences would be very appreciated.

Current system is Onkyo TX-NR626 Reviever, Pioneer BDP450 Blu-Ray Player, SKY-HD, I-Pad3 & B&W MT50 5.1 Speakers.

I will sell this system and go for the 2.0/2.1 system.
