Change in packaging for Babylon 5 season 4

Just received this today (region 2)from Amazon and found that the packaging has changed.

The disks are now supplied in individual thin cases complete with sleeve & notes, as opposed to loose in the hub style of the last 3 seasons. Has any body else found this, or is it just copies from Amazon?

Also got mine from Amazon and I don't mind the new packaging, although I would have preferred if they had gone back to the slightly heavier duty plastic book case they used for season 1 & 2.

The season 3 case was a little lighter and didn't hold the disc's in place very well - I know Amazon had plenty of returns for season 3 as many people had more than one shaker/scratched disc in the set.

Warner have obviously taken note and gone a different way for season 4.

Doesn't bother me too much as I don't think it looks that out of place next to the other sets.

The only differnce 'on the shelf'is that the season 4 box is slightly fatter to allow for the differnt packing.

Hi,

Why can't Warner Bros ever get packaging of DVD's right?! If its not blinking cardboard Snapper cases, then it's changing packaging part way through a TV series. It would be more sensible, if they'd come up with the thin-jewel-style CD cases back a year or so ago, for Season 1, not change it at Season 4.

Warner's staff really do need their heads examining!

On this subject of changing packaging, i was a bit annoyed with the difference between my NYPD blue season's 1 & 2 boxsets. Both are region 2, but side by side, the main police badge logos are at different heights. Ok, so its not really a big deal, but does spoil the shelf presentation a bit.
