    Hi,

Eidos and Si have split and created 2 games, one is champ man 5 and the other is football manager 05.

Has anyone played either of them?

Which one do I buy, i want the one that is the most playable.

Some say to get FM 05 and some say to get CM5.

    Anybody got any opinions?

They aren't scheduled for release until early November, so no. However, like BauerCTU said there is a demo available for FM 2005 (although beta) so you can have a play about with that and see what you think. The interface takes a bit of getting used to mind. Also, I heard that the magazine PC Zone will be having a 'face off' next issue so I suppose you can get an idea of which is better from that. Owning the engine behind the Championship Manager series kind of puts you in a good position though. But we'll have to see...

I've been beta testing Football Manager 2005 for SI, and can categorically say that the retail version is going to be way way better than the beta demo.

Football Manager 2005, from the makers of all the previous Champ Manager titles. Know the Score.

Gold demo is great for FM 2005 - due to release 5/11.

Champ Man 5 has been delayed, most likely til after Xmas. No one has seen hide nor hair of a demo yet, and the new developers didn't exactly have a stunning track record. Eidos are looking for someone to buy them, so it's anyone's guess as to when it will come out.

So it looks like our minds have been made up for us regrading which one to buy. It looks like CM5 has slipped to early - 2005 Doh !!
