    Sorry if this has already been asked

    but

    does anybody know why you cannot get champions league football via the ITN news channel on SKY ?

    The only thing i have read on the subject suggests that because SKY is available outside the UK they don't want people in mainland europe etc. watching it for free. I presume these games are sold as P.P.V. across Europe. :confused:

    Hmmmmm maybe but Surely you can get ITV and ITV2 in Europe via SKY ??

    Would it be that NTL\Telewest have a different\better contract?

    Another thing , I wish ITV did not put those curtains on the sides of the picture and stick a Wide screen signal in the transmission , it means I cannot stretch the picture . Also it is off putting
