Something to get you started:
(all scan.co.uk)

Get a 8500GT off ebuyer - with google checkout it's only £42.

If you're not bothered about games I'd go for a motherboard with integrated graphics.

I have a MSI 939 mobo with nVidia 6150 graphics, and it does everything I need it to. It even runs 720p x264 files no problem, and Company of Heroes works with low settings (that was just a test, I don't really play games on it).

If you need it, just plug in a GFX card later on down the line.

I've just built a similar system with a S939 Opteron, your biggest problem is going to be trying to find a decent S939 microATX mobo, everyone appears to be out of stock. So my suggestion would be to maybe think about going for full ATX motherboard and a larger case, but if thats not an option, then sell the processor and get an AM2, there are plenty microATX boards out there for AM2 now
