Was in CEX today, they have this poster with the most wanted items, and top of that list was the xbox360, cash price £355 is what they were offering.

Looks like CEX arent getting any of their own 360's and are trying to tempt people to sell their 360's.

CEX are worse than the people on ebay!! Whether they will sell any at that price is yet to be seen. I know the demand for the 360 is going to be high but I cant see anyone buying at over £360. Only desperate parents would go for that price. Also its a risky business venture on CEX's part. Say they buy up 30 360's on release, sell 20 and have 10 left, come christmas the shops have a few 360's in stock so desperate people can get hold of a machine, there no chance CEX will be able to sell their machines at £400.
I'm betting that £355 will come down to something like £300, then sell them on for £340 ish.

They did the same thing when the PSP launched here. THey were buying them for 180 quid cash and selling them for 270 all be it including 75 quids worth of in store vouchers in the price. They did pretty good business with this and sold a lot of PSP's. I wouldn't be surprised if they did well with the 360 in the same manner although probably not as well as with the PSP.

Wish I had a CEX near me. I'd order one of those Argos £350 Xbox360 bundles with the two games, claim my £10 voucher, keep the games & sell the console to CEX for the same money ;) class!
