Certain type of USB cable - anyone know the correct term or name?

My apologies, just wiki'ed USB and got my answer and i have just realized this is in the wrong forum sorry here for anyone who wants the info:

Yep any help would be great ahh we all know that it would be alot simpler if from the start every USB manufacturer used micro USB at the other end right, but no we don't live in ideal or effective world do we lol, anyway yeah all i would like to know is name for this type of USB cable , i thought to myself that this type was quite old but then we aquired a new printer (all in one scanner) in the home and it uses this type and didn't come with one supplied for whatever BS reason so i've been using one from a external hard drive i'm about to sell on ebay, thus you should have deduced that i need a new one for the new printer and then i can sell my hard drive lol

It looks like B. Very common with printers. You need an A to B cable. A quid or two.
