I have a kef 95.2 C as my centre speaker and it's working well. I am planning on buying a new iQ6C centre. Now I probably won't get much for my old centre if I sell it and I was wondering whether it's worth trying to use it as a centre rear speaker, thereby converting my 5.1 system to a 6.1.

It would make an excellent rear effects speaker.

As you say, rather than losing loads of money on your existing centre, you may as well give it the rear duties to take care of :)
