    Hello!

I have CDM7 SE's as fronts and have just bought a new sideboard to put the soon to be acquired plasma on.

In the centre of the sideboard is a space that I want to use for a centre speaker. Unfortunately it is only 456mm wide! Furniture here:

The idea being that I will make up a frame, cover it with thin brown fabric (acoustically transparent if possible) and fix it over the shelf area in the front.

    I thought about either a B&W CC6 S2 (about £100-115 on EBay.)

I could fit in a CMC if I stood it on end. Would this ruin it's performance?

Another alternative would be to put a single bookshelf B&W in the space but I wasn't sure whether this would be any good as a centre (and I'd have to buy 2!!)

Anyone's suggestions or opinions would be appreciated.

    Many thanks.
