centre speaker with plasma

    im going to mount my 42 panny plasma on a stand on a chest of drawers at botom of bed, im in an attic conversion with a barn style ceiling so plasma neary touches roof ...where do i put my centre speaker???
    also i have to get plasma up stais(loft type ladder) verrrrrry strong
    i know you cant lay plasma on its side but is it ok to tilt verticaly???i.e 42 inch tall while taking it up stars??

    How about placing it behind the screen?

    i have thout of that but shirley i would loose out and get a mufffled sound!!
    wish i got a smaller centre speaker now:(
    if i get a small one shirley it would fit infront of tv, Mmmm
    (must remember to sstop callin people shirley:)
    any other ideas??

    It's difficult to say exactly how much detorioation to the center sound would occur. I have mounted a center speaker behind the set up in my study (for my Xbox) and have not really noticed any degradation, although this is a world apart from watching DVD's in 20 ft living room.

    I would say at least give it a go. If it's acceptable then all well and good; if not then you will obviously need to explore other avenues.
