THINKING OF GETTING A TANNOY RC CENTER ARE THEY ANY GOOD ALSO WOT IS THE ALTERNATIVES
IMO centerspeaker is the most important speaker if all you care about is the homecinama performance. If music is as important the front speakers is where you start. But the center is still a close second.
In HC the center delivers nearly 90% of the dialaogue and no matter how good the fronts are. If you can't follow the dialogue...your HC is a waste.
The second most important thing in buying a homecinema setup is that the center must be equal to the fronts. They must als sound compatible toeach other.
The three speakers in front of you must make a solid equal sound field.
So mostly this means that the three speakers must come from the same brand or preferably from the same line.
So to make everything short..if your fronts are from the R line from tannoy. By all means tryout the Rcenter.
If you want to cheaper...try out the Mcenter and MX center from Tannoy. maybe they will also work out well with your fronts.
