Where is the best place to position your centre speaker if you have a rear projection TV? My TV is a Tosh 42wt29 and the top of the TV is only around 3-4'' wide. Do I just balance the centre speaker (B&W lcr60) on top of the TV or is there somewhere else I can place it. I don't have the glass cabinet for the TV so there is nowhere underneath the TV I can place it, unless I buy the glass stand of course but that would mean the speaker is virtually on the floor? Is this adviseable? What about a shelf slightly above the TV, would that be practical?

    Thanks

When I had a Tosh 56 mine was on top of the tv tilted up at the bask so as to direct the sound down to where we sat.

The other option of course is a shelf above the tv do do the same job if the speaker wont balance on the top of the tv itself.

I have mine on top too. Never had any problems.
'Shelf' is 4" deep and the speaker is 6" deep.
