I've got oportunity to completely re-do my lounge where I have my home cinema setup. On the wall that I plan to hang my plasma, I want to have my centre speaker (it's a mission 77c1). I think I;m going to build a sort of boxed area coming out of the wall from floor to ceiling that will make the plasma hanging a lot easier and also hide all the cables. I was thinking of creating a shelf/hole with the same dimensions as my centre speaker to house it but am a bit worried what this will do to the sound. Should I leave a gap around the speaker and if so how much.

    Thanks in advance...
