Have 603S2's for the front (as currently used in my stereo set-up), with an older pair of 601S1's for the back (they were my previous speakers, which were lent to a friend when I upgraded to the floorstanders, but have now been returned).

Got a Denon 3805 on order - demo'd it using the above set-up (but with the current versions, i.e. S3's) with an LCR60 for the centre and REL Q150E sub. Was going to buy that centre, but then discovered that my Panasonic 36PD30 telly's stand will not accommodate it... The shelves are just under 7" high, the LCR60 is just over 7"...

Now, do I get the B&W centre from the DM300(?) range, or the VM1 (which is aesthetically better)? I can't find a dealer who has both in stock for me to demo.

Alternatively, which other brands would match sonically AND fit in the stand? :lease:

If it were me, I'd forget compromising your speaker choice to fit the stand and buy a new stand. You have over a grands worth of speaker there...

I don't know what the TV stand looks like but can you get spacer bars to put between shelves? Or add on shelves which you could mod with steel bars to get the extra 1" in height?

I agree with digisocialist. You have a great speaker set up there - I would be reluctant to compromise on your centre speaker. I would definitely look into the options for a new stand. I have a similar set up to yourself, but have the LCR600 centre.

Hmmm, hadn't thought of that! Mind you, as I don't think that resting my DVD player on the LCR60 is a Good Idea (maybe I could search for a sorbothane platform?), and as the rest of the AV kit (amp, CD player, etc) sit on an Atacama stand which is approx 2-3m away, I'd have to move the DVD player (which is a DVD Recorder) and ntl STB to that. Which means another 3m of component cable, plus long SCART plus... I'll go do the maths!

Is the LCR3 (which is the smaller B&W centre) that much inferior?

As you have 603S2 why not use a CC6 S2 as this is around 6".
