Re my Atmos 7.2.4 setup

So, I have two centre rears up near the ceiling, and thinking of moving then to the back wall to be at a better height, but they would then be a slightly greater distance from the viewing position than the fronts and centre position.

Do I leave where they are which is too high, or place midway up that back wall which is too far back?

Opinions guys :)

I'd be tempted to try them on the back wall. Would certainly give a sense of depth to the rear soundstage.

Alternatively, would having them on Stands behind be a possibility?

On stands they would be on the way. I used to have some floorstanders either side of the dining table but they were a bit low and too close together, and too big really.
I'm thinking halfway up the rear wall see red X

Fronts are 300cm from viewing postion, placing centre rears of back wall would make them 370cm behind the viewing pisition
