To do justice to the Pioneer AX 10 amp what cables are worth looking at when connecting it to a good quality centre speaker (my centre is the ProAc CC1 ).

I use Kimber 4VS at the moment. I want to recable my home cinema eventually. The obvious choice for me would be Kimber 8TC but I'm tempted to try Nordost Solar Wind assuming it's available in monowire form.

defo a case of law of diminishing return imho.

once you get to "bloody good" cable e.g. qed silver anniversary, then you're tailing off on improvement per pound very quickly - set yourself a budget and find what sound right to you.

I have Silver anniversary on my surrounds, however I've tried some on my fronts (Monitor Audio Gold Ref) and the speakers don't sound anything like they do with the Cord Odyssey. :D

wasn't citing qed as the be all and end all - it' more a case of finding what is good and what you can afford - there is no guarantee that nordost cable will sound signicantly (if at all) better than a considerably cheaper cable. Try b4 you buy

I use the same as the fronts... it would be too expensive for the surrounds, otherwise it would be the right choice too...

60A Ring Mains Cable and contact enhancer... Can't beat it for current handling... ;)
Oh, except by biwiring it of course.

Note, the word RING... Trying to bend this stuff into any other shape requires a pair of pliers.

It really does sound good (to me) and is really cheap, even triwired...
