Jit- LMK how you get along with that centre speaker shelf with the 42PW23P (I've got the same RP)

Not sure if it'll hold my 11Kg centre though.

A few companies make item like this for the top of CRT PC monitors worth looking through a Lyreco or viking catlogue at work or the website. I think Fellows do one through Staples as well or if you have a B&O Avant there is a specific bracket available.

Yeah tell me about... I need one to hold my 13kg one!

It should help spread the weight around though...better then it being concentrated on just the top portion of the tv.

klaus where did you get the pic from?

Anyone else have any ideas where to get one?

And the Rega is a wall bracket and not a TV top stand.

    Yes, i see it now.

I'm using a Tannoy Revolution Centre which is 17Kg along with my Toshiba 42PW23P RPTV.

Would the Farnell one work with this combo?

Don't know yet mate. I have a huge Paradigm CC350. I can't see a problem though as my tv supports it ok, it just over hangs the screen a bit to balance. With the shelf it should sit nicely.

B-Tech sell a 'set top centre speaker platform' it's only £11.99 including VAT, plus £2 p+p, and it's available in black or silver. Their website is www.b-tech-int.com you can order by calling 01689 848 535 or you can e-mail them your details. I was going to get one myself but may not need one now.

    klaus.

That one only holds speakers up to 7Kg, i think most of us need something a bit stronger.

delivered yesterday and its fine for me,its all metal no plastic and it takes my speaker easily, although i think my cs is smaller than most on this thread(quad11c).if your tv can take the weight im pretty sure the shelf will.

How far do the legs extend down?

I'd be using it with a Toshiba 42PW23P RPTV which slopes downward quite sharply at the back.
