    Hi guys,

Looks like the Sony Cineza HS1 can be ceiling mounted after all.

Sony is Australia offer a PSSHS1 mount and say the mount has instructions on how to invert the picture.

My Question is does anyone know what the option is to invert the picture, I have looked in the Factory and Service menus but nothing there.

The way to enter the service menus are the same as the VW10HT so I was wondering all you VW10 or 11HT owenrs can tell me how you invert the signal as it might be the same for the HS1.

The URL for the sony Australia site is

    this

    Cheers

Peter I would rather not post it in the forums as I dont want people to screw up there projectors.

If you are really desperate to modify your settings then drop me a private message and I will tell you how, but please write down all the current settings before you make any changes you can make some serious mistakes if you adjust the things without knowing what they do.

    Cheers

    Peter,

yeah I am sure that you can make a big mistake if you adjust the settings in either the Factory or the Service menus.

I have a feeling that to invert the picture might be a key combination or holding down a button while switching on the projector.

No luck as of yet tho.

    Kev.

    Guys,
I would be really interested in hearing your findings on this one. I currently have a HS1 reserved, but then found out about the mounting limitations. Could you keep me copied in please?
    Thanks,
    Gav.

I so hope the Hs1 can be ceiling mounted, I cant find any more info on this PSSHS1, but as soon as it becomes available I'll be getting one. It will be a bit tricky using the memory stick slot though, I actually use it quite often!

I have a bad feeling that it might require a rom upgrade to add this option to the menus but then again maybe not, info is still sketchy.

I think the only country to offer option is Australia so far.

We can only hope that it is a hidden feature and we will find out in time.

If we can get some info from anyone who has a HS1 in OZ then we might get a bit futher on in our quest.

Thanks for the warning and advice Kevin.I won't be fiddling with the service or factory menu, but it's good to know how to access it for possible future reference.

The ceiling mount is not of great use to me at the moment,as I don't have the room for a permanent projector setup, but hope this function is found to be available on the HS1.

Strange that Sony would hide the fact though.
