Celestion S10 Subwoofer - faults and repairs

    My Celestion S10 Subwoofer has stopped giving an audio output. The Auto detect works, red to green light but no sound. Seems could be a capacitor. KEF will repair at a cost of £118 but is there a cheaper alternative

    Not sure how you've come to that conclusion without opening it,as there are other components which may fail also.

    You could try locally to find a competent electrical repair business,but the likelihood is that they will charge you considerably as well.
