I'm currently using Kef Ref 2.2's with a Celestion A4C, A1 in 5.1 and am very happy with the sound.

For my much larger new HT I've got some A2's which I was intending to use as sides.

But would it be better to use the A1's for the sides and A2's for the rears? I almost always use Logic7 on my MC1.

In addition I've got some KEF TDM34DS's that sound brilliant and are less than a year old. I stopped using them because of positioning restrictions in my current room.

Would they make a better side speaker? My apprehension in using them in the new room is that only a certain number of seats could be in the null position. There is over 14ft from my front row to back row of seating.

Should I sell the TDMs? or the A1s? I'm leaning towards selling the TDMs.

    Mark.

Have decided to sell the TDMs

But would still like opinions.. For Logic7 7.1 would the bigger speakers be better used for sides or rears?

    Thanks,

    Mark.

I would use the bigger speakers at the rear and the A1's on the sides.

Alternatively try them and you will know for sure:smoke:
