Celeron 667mhz Socket 370

I have an old HP desktop (HP 6712) with a Celeron 667mhz processor and 320mb RAM, it uses Socket 370, is there processor I could put in it that would make my PC more powerful??

Socket 370 was for processors up to the Pentium 3 1.4Ghz but you'd have to check your HP's specification/manual to see which particular ones it supports (it should be available on the website).

It'd still be very slow by today's standards so it's probably only worth doing if you can find an appropriate processor very cheap (a tenner or so) and have a specific use for it (file server, render farm, SETI cruncher etc.).
