I'm putting in 2 x Kef 8" ceiling speaker to act as my surround speakers (5.1 set up). This is due to lack of space for the rear speaker in the usual positions. However position wise I'm not sure exactly where to put them.

A) In the ceiling directly over the left and right than arm rests of the sofa to give the best 5.1 in the centre of the sofa?
B) In the ceiling 50cm to the left of the left hand side arm rest and 50 cm to the right of the right hand arm rest to create more width?
C) In the ceiling 20 cm inside the arm rest on both side to get a cross over of sound when sitting in the middle?

My ceiling is 2.6M tall; my sofa is a little over 3.2M long and will be against the wall so there is no space behind of the speakers. I think option B makes the most sense?
Thx
