Ceiling sockets

    Hi all,

    I'm routing projector cable through my plasterboard ceiling and down a
    wall. There are mains and AV cables. My simple question is, should I
    mount back boxes for the outlets on the joists in the same way that
    they would be mounted to a stud in a stud partition?
